“Bulgaria’s beauty must be seen to be fully appreciated. The country is a colourful blend of city, coast and ski; modern and old; contemporary with traditional. Just 3 hours away, Bulgaria is a low cost but high quality alternative to other European destinations.

Introduction

Bulgaria is a beautiful country that can only truly be appreciated by visiting the country and witnessing the stunning mountains, beautiful coasts and bustling cosmopolitan cities for yourself.

The ski resorts of Bulgaria are within an easy 3 hour flight away from the UK, direct into Sofia. Sofia does enjoy its own skiing facilities, but for a more complete skiing experience holidaymakers visit the likes of Pamporovo and Bansko.

Pamporovo is one of the most beautiful ski resorts in Bulgaria, retaining its wilderness charm without sacrificing its array of modern facilities. A family favourite, the resort offers a range of skiing difficulties, from the green run to the black run.

The Grand Monastery development has one of the most fantastic locations in the entire resort, being right at the foot of the ski slopes. Perfect for rental or simply holidaying here. With a location second to none, property in Grand Monastery is highly sought after.

With the development complete, you can visit your proposed property purchase as you would with any normal property purchase. Actually admire your views and marvel at the location, and still purchase for a price similar to many off-plan comparisons.

The Grand Monastery, Pamporovo

The Grand Monastery is the culmination of four years of development. This stunning development is built around an all important ski lift and offers a vast array of facilities on-site, making it undoubtedly the most sought after address in this prestigious resort. The complex is truly 'ski in, ski out' and has an incredible range of facilities, unsurpassed in the country - perfect for enjoying all year round. The 'Grand' is a natural continuation of the very popular Pamporovo Monastery development, completing the new village environment.

A green, red and black run all finish mere feet away from the properties, ensuring that this complex offers an unrivalled location. Indeed, it is possible to ski down the famous ‘wall’ black run, right to the door of your apartment.  This means you and your guests spend less time travelling to the slopes and more time actually enjoying the skiing. All from only £35,000!

The Developers of the Grand Monastery are ranked among the top three in Bulgaria, having worked on many prestigious developments across the country and Internationally.  The 'Dinevi' standard is synonymous with consistency, beauty and quality.

The Grand Monastery has been built to the same high standards as previous Dinevi complexes, which of course you can view on your viewing trip. We can assist with recommending management and rental companies so you will have total peace of mind in relation to the management of your investment. Incredibly important when you live 2,000 miles away!

The resort is an approximately a 1hr drive from the airport of Plovdiv (which is currently only open for package holidays during the skiing season) and is approximately 2½ hrs drive from Sofia. Pamporovo is widely regarded as the most 'upmarket' of all the Bulgarian ski resorts.

Pamporovo has an exclusive climate, featuring a mild winter with about 120 sunny days during the skiing period. The skiing season starts from mid December  and lasts until mid April. The average air temperature is -3 ° C. The gentle profile of the mountain with its rounded slopes and summits makes Pamporovo particularly suitable for beginners. But there are also difficult ski runs like the Giant Slalom run which offers a challenge even for the expert skier.

The ski runs are maintained to a high standard and there are more than 100 highly qualified ski instructors, fluent in different languages to teach both beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders alike.
