High level personal sales skills must be coupled with the initiative, drive and determination to succeed with a naturally buoyant infectious attitude.  Ideally from a telesales or overseas property background, you should be accustomed to identifying opportunities and winning sales by excellent presentation skills, script writing, good lead progression and closure rates and possess a proven capability of launching effective new initiatives.

Marketing and PR Assistant

A proactive, professional and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant is required to join our busy head office in Tavistock, Devon. An overseas property developer specialising in five star hotel resorts worldwide, Barrasford and Bird Worldwide’s office environment is dynamic and fast-moving.

The successful candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills and will be extremely well organised. You will also be a quick learner with an aptitude for writing interesting and exciting press releases, brochures and online content.

The Role

• Copywriting and planning content for: brochures, web, press-releases, advertisements, newsletters, etc.
• Juggling a busy calendar to schedule timely newsletters and reports
• Aiming to achieve press coverage for our company
• Liaising with journalists; responding to press requests
• Uploading and distributing press releases
• Contributing to monthly marketing reports
